I visited this cemetery in mid-July 2022. We haven't had any rain worth talking of for weeks, and
we're approaching what is expected to be the UK's hottest day ever. On this day it was partly sunny
and temperatures were in the high 20's. We're expecting up to 34 degrees on one day next week.
The cemetery had recently been mown, but only in places. For the large part the grounds are left as-is,
and serve as a safe haven for various insect and little rodents. The lack of rain meant that growing
plants and grasses were looking quite sorry for themselves, but the hay and straw from where it had been
mown were now dry and crispy. I thought the whole scenario was quite photogenic, so I let loose
with my Sigma dp0Q and tried to record the place.
